Spera Cove

The Spera Cove ( English for Polish Zatoka Spery ) is a bay of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located southeast of Point Hennequin and Basalt Point .

Polish scientists named her in 1980 after Commodore Marian Spera, head of sea operations in the Polish Antarctic expedition, which ran from 1978 to 1979.
