Playground

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The playground is a place in Trier in the Pfalzel district . It is located at the intersection of Stiftstrasse, Adulastrasse , Mechtelstrasse and An der Bastion. The space is mainly used as a parking lot .

Just like the street Im Spilles in yours, the name is derived from the word “Spieles” for a rural town hall (according to Grimm's dictionary ). In the past, these were often referred to as playhouses because they were often used for dancing and weddings.

At the playground there are two cultural monuments as well as the rest of the Pfalzel city wall, which is also listed.

The technical marvel of a hot air water pump can also be viewed on the square.
