An extensive villa complex is known, which was located on the site of the parish church built in the neo-Gothic style between 1874 and 1876. This complex was probably the country seat of St. Helena , the mother of Emperor Constantine, and gave its name to today's parish of St. Helena and the village fountain.

The village of Herresthal, which belongs to you, was first mentioned in a Eurener chronicle in 1247.

The Monaise Castle is an early classical building from 1783 and was the summer residence of Philipp Franz Wilderich Nepomuk von Walderdorf . Today it is used gastronomically.

The incorporation of yours into the city of Trier took place in 1930.

Economy and Infrastructure

In the southeast of the district is the largest contiguous industrial and commercial area in the city of Trier, with a size of around 175 hectares. This has been created since the federal government handed over the site to the city of Trier in 1977 on Eurener Flur, a former airfield site, after an agreement was made with the French owners to relocate the airport to Föhren in 1974 . Since it was founded, around 160 companies with around 6500 jobs have settled here, including the largest employer in Trier, the cigarette manufacturer JTI ( Japan Tobacco International Germany GmbH ). A positive location factor for the industrial and commercial area is the valley location between the Moselle and the railway line, which, in addition to the road, also enables transport links via rail and shipping.

In Conversion Area Pi Park another industrial park was created. Originally intended as a pioneer park for young companies, today there are workshops, a carpenter's workshop, a DRK operations center and a brothel .
