Steffen Raßloff (* 1968 in Erfurt ) is a German historian , publicist and curator .

Life

Steffen Raßloff studied history and German at the University of Erlangen . In 2001 he became a refugee in the national community with his work . The Erfurt bourgeoisie between the Empire and the Nazi dictatorship is doing their doctorate . He then taught at the University of Erfurt .

Since 2007 he has been working as a freelance historian and publicist as well as a curator for exhibitions and media projects. His main focus is on the German history of the 19th and 20th centuries, especially the history of Central Germany , the history of Thuringia and the city ​​of Erfurt . Raßloff is a member of the historical commission for Thuringia, deputy chairman of the association for the history and archeology of Erfurt , board member of the University Society Erfurt and the Rotary Club Erfurt as well as chairman of the association for the city ​​museum Erfurt . He is editor of the communications of the association for the history and antiquity of Erfurt and writes for the Thüringer Allgemeine and the Thüringische Landeszeitung .
