Toy fair

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A toy fair is usually an annual forum for manufacturers, retailers , publishers , authors , the press and the general public on the subject of toys. A distinction is made between public fairs , which are accessible to everyone, and trade fairs to which access is restricted to a specialist audience. Mixed forms are also established.

The world's most important toy fair is the Nuremberg Toy Fair , which takes place annually in February and is purely a trade fair. Around the same time, the American International Toy Fair , North America's premier toy fair , takes place in New York City .

Also important in Germany are the international game days in Essen , which take place every autumn, and are one of the most well-known public fairs on this topic.
