The Spindrift Bluff ( English for spray cliff ) is an approximately 700 m high cliff with an east-west orientation in the north-west of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It looms south of Mistral Ridge on the Rymill Coast .
The British Antarctic Survey carried out surveys between 1971 and 1972. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1980 after the spray emanating from the cliff when the wind was blowing .
