Sport Luanda e Benfica or Benfica de Luanda is an Angolan football club from Luanda .
history
The association was established in 1922 under the name Sport Luanda e Benfica , founded as a branch of the Portuguese club Benfica Lisbon ( port. : Sport Benfica Lisboa e ). In 1995 the club was renamed Saneamentos Rangol Luanda. In 2000 he changed his name back to Sport Luanda e Benfica. The club plays its home games at the Estádio Nacional dos Coqueiros in Luanda . Benfica de Luanda celebrated their greatest national success so far in 2007 when they won the SuperTaça de Angola . That year the club qualified for a continental competition for the first time . After successfully completing the third round, the club was subsequently excluded because players who were not eligible to play were used. Thus, the club left the competition without defeat.
