In 1931 and 1932 , the sports car race on the 24.951 km long circuit near Avellino was won by Scuderia Ferrari factory drivers. Baconin Borzacchini won in 1931 and a year later Tazio Nuvolari had remained successful. In 1933, too, overall victory went to a Scuderia driver.
