history
In 1937, Fred W. Wahlin and Svend Bramsen founded Spraying Systems Co. near Chicago. In 1961, the German trading company W. Schaumlöffel started selling a few "TeeJet" brand Spraying Systems nozzles for the agricultural sector. In 1964 the nozzle trade was expanded to the industrial sector. In 1980 Spraying Systems Co. bought W. Schaumlöffel's nozzle division and took over the nozzle business in Germany. From 1981 the foundation stone for production in Germany was laid. Initially, production only took place in Winterbach near Stuttgart. The second production site in Dortmund was added in 1982. In 1998 production was relocated from Dortmund to Witten. In 2000 a second new production hall with 3550 m² of usable space and 1100 m² of office space in Schorndorf was moved into.
Agricultural engineering
In agricultural engineering, the company is known for the manufacture of TeeJet nozzles. The agricultural engineering division was spun off and is looked after by the company's subsidiary TeeJet Technologies.
