Jumper (clockwork)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A jumper takes the place of the person taking a break during cyclical work, in particular during assembly line production , when individual workers take breaks in work that are necessary or under collective bargaining agreements ( stone cooler break ). A corresponding break rule was first achieved in 1973 by IG Metall in the collective bargaining area of Baden-Württemberg.
