Srbski Klanac ( Serbian - Cyrillic Србски Кланац ) is a passable mountain pass in the historical region of the Lika in today's Croatia . It is located at an altitude of 739 meters above the Adriatic Sea . It connects the next larger town of Lika Gračac with the inland via the road 218 Gračac - Otrić - Srb . The pass itself has three switchbacks over a length of about two to three kilometers .
During the Second World War, the pass was an important strategically contested point as it is the fastest connection from the Adriatic coast to the inland towards western Bosnia and Bihać .
