The Sree Kanteerava Stadium (English Sree Kanteerava Stadium , also Sri Kanteerava Stadium ) is a multifunctional stadium in Bangalore , India . It is mainly used for soccer games, and it serves as the home of Bengaluru FC , which plays in India's top soccer league . It has a capacity of 24,000 seats. The stadium is part of the Sree Kanteerava Sports Complex . The 100 × 68 meter inner playing field is today (2017) surrounded by an 8-lane 400 meter long running track .
In 2016, Bengaluru FC played here in the semi-finals of the AFC Cup . The Indian national football team played their World Cup qualifier against the Oman team here in 2016 .
