Shri Singha
Shri Singha was an 8th century Buddhist master, born in Kinnaur, who received the transmission of the Dzogchen - (Great Perfection) teachings from Manjushrimitra , based on Garab Dorje . Shri Singha later became a master of Padmasambhava , Vimalamitra and Vairocana as well as of Jnanasutra . The first three became important links in the transmission of the teachings to Tibet . They became the most important teachings of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism ( Vajrayana ). At the end of his time in India, Shri Singha went to China (Tang Dynasty) to Mount Wu Tai Shan .
