The Church of Saints Lorenzo, Silvestro and Ruffino is a church in Massa Fermana .
description
The church is on Via Garibaldi, on the corner with Via Guerrieri. It was rebuilt at the end of the 19th century and is famous for the polyptych by Massa Fermana (1468), the first work by Carlo Crivelli in the Marche. The right chapel of the presbytery also contains a work by his brother Vittore , who depicts a Madonna with Child and Angels under Saints Laurence, Francis, Rufinus and Sylvester, on which we also see the commissioning confreres and various followers.
In the sacristy there is a painting of the Assumption and Saints by Sebastiano Ghezzi .
Due to the earthquake in 2016 , the church is currently closed. The polyptych by Crivelli is currently kept in the Pinacoteca Comunale di Massa Fermana .
