The municipal steam bath is a listed ( list entry ) building on Salurner Straße in Innsbruck .

The building was built in 1926/27 under the city's building director Friedrich Konzert . The steam bath on Salurner Straße is located in a striking corner building, which is stylistically classified between New Objectivity and Art Nouveau . At first glance, the elegant and magnificent details in the equipment catch the eye. During the Second World War, the magnificently painted glass windows in the area of ​​the entrance were destroyed, the building itself was not further damaged.

In 1987 a thorough renovation and renovation of the municipal steam bath began. It reopened in autumn 1990. The foyer clad in red marble and the basin room with its colorful glass windows and mosaics should be emphasized .

The bath is equipped with two Finnish saunas, a eucalyptus sauna, a steam sauna, a cold water basin, a warm water basin, a Kneipp facility, two infrared chambers and several solariums.
