Stand time is a song by the German comedy trio Y-Titty . It was released for online purchase as a single on October 14, 2011 . Due to many purchases could stand Time place in the German single charts.

During an interview with Promiflash , Matthias Roll ( TC ) said that the guys had thought about making it into the charts with their community and of course didn't expect that to happen. "Stand time has shown that you don't need TV advertising, a mega budget or Dieter Bohlen to make it into the charts, just a great community that stands behind you!" , Said Y-Titty in a reaction to the chart entry.
Music video
The official music video for Ständerime was uploaded on October 14, 2011 by Y-Titty. The director took over Philipp Laude ( Phil ). Stefan Erpelding was the producer and set manager for the video, and Thomas Zittlau was responsible for the camera. There were only two days available for shooting.
The drummer makes his first appearance here in a video from Y-Titty. The boys said: “We still rehearsed this stand dance and met with the drummer and then we got the idea that he would be involved in this bridge. And we liked that so much, we said: 'That has to be in the video'. ” He can usually be seen in the background as an extra . Y-Titty discovered him through a casting.
In the video, the subject of erections is poked fun at. All kinds of scenes are shown to match the text. Like the song, it begins with a visit to a doctor's office, where Phil is examined. When the doctor comes very close to him and takes hold of his hand, the chorus starts. A strange expression crosses his face and when the doctor takes a step back, she sees his boner . The whole thing happens to TC in a similar situation on the beach. At the end of the video, Phil walks across a meadow with an ax and sings: “What should we do, what can we do? Our stands get in our way. I can't go any further, I have to chop it off! " , He lifts the ax, but then OG stands in front of him and sings: " Stooooop! Stands are also good for something! ” And gives examples such as coat hooks , carrying bags , chopping firewood and more, which are shown in the video. After OG's demonstration of a lightsaber stand, he and Phil look at each other for a few moments without a word, then Phil moves away and the song is over. After more than half a year, the clip was clicked over 6,000,000 times. Currently (as of March 2019) the video has over 25 million clicks.

Ständerime was able to advance to the top of the iTunes hits and Bravo charts in Germany. It was also represented in the German single charts at 48th place for one week. After the release of the second single, Last Summer , the piece was once again able to reach the iTunes Top 100.
