The Main Bridge Goßmannsdorf is a road bridge in Lower Franconia , which spans the Main at river kilometer 268.83 in the area of the underwater of the lock Goßmannsdorf. As part of the Goßmannsdorf bypass , it connects the state road 2418 on the left side of the Main with the right main road 13 . The structure has two lanes and sidewalks on both sides and a cycle path on the upstream side.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place on August 8, 2005. The official release followed on December 21, 2009.
The 13.25 m wide road bridge has two lanes each 3.75 m, an upstream sidewalk and bike path with 3.5 m and a downstream sidewalk with 1.75 m width. The building system is a 234 m long continuous beam in the longitudinal direction , which is divided into five fields with spans of 37.0 m, 42.0 m, 55.0 m, 55.0 m and 45.0 m. In the transverse direction there is a single-cell, 13.25 m wide box girder with a constant construction height of 3.0 m.
The pillars and abutments of the structure stand on around 1500 m large bored piles with a diameter of 1.5 m, which reach down to the limestone rock in the deep layers. The pile lengths are between 45.0 m and 55.0 m. For the pillar in the defensive arm, a dam was temporarily poured from the bank to create the foundation and pillar.
The bridge superstructure was constructed using the incremental launching method without auxiliary supports in nine increments with lengths between 14.5 m and 29.1 m.
