The Catholic parish church of St-Etienne in Livry-sur-Seine , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the 13th century. The church is on the Place de l'Église.

history

The church, consecrated to St. Stephen , was first mentioned as a parish church in 1206 . When it was restored in 1773, it was owned by the landlord Brice-Richard de Pichon. In the church there are tombstones of pastors and patrons .

Furnishing

The main altar with the depiction of the stoning of St. Stephen is dated around 1650. A painted stucco Madonna and Child comes from the beginning of the 15th century.
