history

The name of the chapel's patron saint, Saint Evy, is the local carving of the name. The chapel is dedicated to either St. David of Menevia or the local Breton saint They.

The church probably goes back to an older hermitage. The current building corresponds to the late Gothic chapels of the region and was given its shape in the 17th century on the ground plan of a dew cross . The year 1660 is embedded in the north wing.

Since the year 2000 the chapel has been restored and provided with new stained glass windows that take up motifs from the surrounding nature. In the corner of the nave and the southern cross arm there is a well. Next to the chapel there is a calvary from the 16th century. The associated Pietà is a replica, the original was placed in the Notre-Dame de Tronoën chapel .
