The St. Anne's Church in Zobbenitz is a Protestant church in Calvörder district Zobbenitz . It belongs to the Provosty Vorsfelde of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Braunschweig . The listed building is on the corner of Mittelstrasse and Dorfstrasse.

Architecture and history

The local church of Zobbenitz is a half-timbered building. It has a flat ceiling. The choir is closed polygonally, the roof tower with a pointed helmet is located above the west gable . The church was built in 1672 and remodeled in 1843 and 1908 (previous church was built in 1623). Inside there is a rich pulpit altar with sculptural decorations and vegetable ornaments from 1700 and an organ from 1887 created by master organ builder August Troch from Neuhaldensleben .

In the churchyard there is a war memorial for those who died in the First World War.
