St. Marien and Anna Church (Dittichenrode)
The Protestant St. Marien and Anna Church is located in the Dittichenrode district of the Südharz community in the Mansfeld-Südharz district in Saxony-Anhalt . It belongs to the parish area in Rossla Kirchenkreis Eisleben-Sömmerda the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .
history
The historically small church , a gem from the late Gothic era , is an example of the past. Its double arched windows on the south wall bear witness to the architecture of that time, but also to the whole church. In 1968 the east apse was demolished because it was dilapidated and in 1999 it was rebuilt according to the model. Further conservation measures are currently underway to allow this beautiful church to work.
