St. Andrew

The Protestant village church of St. Andreas is located in the Schillingstedt district of the city of Sömmerda in the Sömmerda district in Thuringia .

history

In the years from 1498 to 1554, the village church , consecrated in the name of St. Andreas, was built. It was quiet around this place for a long time. In 2004 the village was 777 years old and something was heard again in the church press. On September 18, the parish was presented with a grant of 45,000 euros for the renovation of its church with a funding notification. In addition, there were 5,000 euros from lottery funds from the building ministry. This is to help finance the church roof , the tower crown and other work. This and other work are necessary in order to be effective inside the house.
