The St. Antonius Church is a church building in Hau , a district of Bedburg-Hau in the Kleve district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

In the place of the St. Antonius Church there was a wooden church as a transitional church until 1986. It was so in need of renovation that the community decided to build a new, stone church on the same site. In 1984 the diocese of Münster gave its approval for the construction of the new church.

After the demolition of the transitional church, construction of today's church began in 1986 based on a design by the architects Paul Eling and Dieter Georg Baumewerd . The foundation stone is a boulder (Rapakivi granite) that was found during the earthworks on the property. It comes from the third glacial period , the Riss or Saale glacial period . The foundation stone is located to the left of the main entrance, flush with the floor in the outer wall.

The church has four towers: in the west the soaring bell tower with the main entrance, in the east the tower of the tabernacle , facing the rising sun; in the south a tower with a devotional chapel, in the north a tower for the organ.

The church was consecrated on June 25, 1988. It is consecrated to St. Anthony and is now a branch church of the new parish of St. John the Baptist.
