St. Anthony Abbot in Gemen

The Catholic Church of St. Antonius Abt is a listed church building in the Schöppinger district of Gemen , district of Borken ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The Bruchstein Hall was built in 1922. It houses remarkable wooden sculptures. The enthroned Madonna and Child is from the middle of the 15th century. The figures of Saint Jerome, Johannes d. T. and Anthony of Padua were carved in the second half of the 15th century. The Pieta from the early 18th century, disfiguring recently passed .
