The first Bielstein church was consecrated on October 7, 1906. Before that, Pastor Effmann founded a Bonifatius-Bauverein on May 21, 1905, which ensured the financing of the project. It was possible to collect 7,000 Reichsmarks in order to buy a piece of land on Florastraße, on which the building was finally built. In April 1945 this church was damaged by artillery fire.
