The Catholic parish church of St. Hubertus is a listed church building in Drewer , a district of the city of Rüthen in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

History and architecture

The chapel was built in 1736/1737 under the supervision of Franz and Anton Schilling as a replacement for a previous building. The entrance on the south side is marked 1737. The building is a two-bay hall church with gothic star vaults and plastered ridges. It is closed on three sides in the east and west. It is provided with a roof ridge . It was rebuilt in 1839. An extension was added in 1936 as a north-facing basilica.

Furnishing

  • The building was painted in 1890 and 1912.
  • The main and side altars date from 1890.
  • An oak standing cross is from the 2nd half of the 15th century.
  • The processional figure from the 3rd quarter of the 18th century is in the local history museum in Lippstadt.
