St. Jakobus (Appenrode)

The St. Jakobus Church in Appenrode is a Protestant church that belongs to the southern Harz parish .

It was built in 1718 and consists of a hall with a tower as part of the western roof. Around 1900 a choir was added to the east. In the 1960s, extensive renovation work was carried out, including a new altar window and an expansion of the gallery .

The baptismal angels and the baroque altar are no longer there.
