St. Josef (Niederndorf)
The parish church of St. Joseph is a Roman Catholic church in Niederndorf , a district of Herzogenaurach . The parish is merged with the three other Catholic parishes of Herzogenaurach to form the parish association of Herzogenaurach. He belongs to the Archdiocese of Bamberg .

The parish church is located in the Niederndorf district at St.-Josefs-Platz 6. State road St 2244 runs directly in front of the church, with Schulstrasse and Lohhofer Strasse at the side. Behind the church is the associated Catholic cemetery St. Josef. In front of the church square is the St.Josefskirche bus stop for various bus routes operated by the Herzogenaurach transport company, Herzobus .
history
The majority of Niederndorfer is Catholic. Believers have always had to go to Herzogenaurach to attend mass. A church building association was founded in 1921, and the building project was decided in November. The plans of the Munich architect Fritz Fuchs Berger built church was built in November 1923 consecrated . The interior was thoroughly renovated in 2013.
