Architecture and history
The single-nave church is made of quarry stone and dates from the 13th century. To the west of the nave there is a church tower perpendicular to the nave. It is covered with a gable roof and has acoustic arcades designed as pointed arches . Renovations were carried out in 1505 and in the 19th century. A small annex is added to the south side of the nave.
The interior of the church is spanned by a plank ceiling from the 16th century. It is decorated with ornamental stencil painting. There is also a two-sided gallery. The Gothic carved altar was built around 1430. A Madonna is depicted in its raised central part. It is flanked on the side by two female saints arranged one above the other. Only that of Jacobus Major is preserved as a figure in the wings of the altar.
A restoration took place in 1937. The carved altar in the wings was carefully supplemented with texts. Large-scale additions to the ceiling paintings were also made during the restoration.

There is also a baptismal font from the beginning of the 18th century and a sacrament niche with an inscription dating back to 1505. The Rühlmann organ in the church has a mechanical mechanism from 1880.
