The Protestant village church St. Laurentius is in the Sundhausen district of the city of Nordhausen in Thuringia .

history

A St. Laurentius church was first mentioned in a chronicle in 760 . The original building was demolished and instead of the old Laurentius Church, the current church and a steeple were built between 1785 and 1800 .

Next to the site of the church there is a granite block as a war memorial for the fallen and missing soldiers of both world wars .
