The St. Louis Stampede were an arena football team from St. Louis, Missouri that played in the Arena Football League (AFL). The Stampede played their home games in the Kiel Center .

The Stampede were founded in 1995 and started playing in the same season. The franchise dissolved after two years, certainly also due to the falling audience figures in the second year of more than 3,000 per game.
1995–1996 season (AFL)
In both operating years you reached the playoffs. The Stampede drove 9 wins to 3 defeats in the first year, but failed in the first playoff round against the Albany Firebirds . In the following year they made the playoffs with 8 wins to 6 defeats, but failed here in the first round at the Iowa Barnstormers .
