St. Maria - Comforter of the Afflicted is a Catholic church in Barth , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and belongs to the Deanery of Western Pomerania of the Archdiocese of Berlin .

history

The Church of St. Maria - Comforter of the Afflicted was built in 1926 in the brick Gothic style. In 1993 the church was renovated and in 1996 a new organ was installed. Since 2005 the church has belonged to the Catholic parish Stralsund - Richtenberg - Barth - Zingst, whose main church is the Trinity Church in Stralsund .
