St. Marien (Rheydt)
The Catholic parish church of St. Mary is in the district of Rheydt in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ).
It was built between 1853 and 1855 according to a design by Vincenz Statz in the neo-Gothic style. It was expanded in 1885 by the same builder. It was partially destroyed on December 31, 1944 during World War II. Until 1962 it was rebuilt and rebuilt by Alfons Leitl .
The windows are by Walter Benner (choir and aisle) or by Vincenz Pieper
The last architectural change including a new organ took place in 2009.
