St. Martin Church in Obenhausen

The Catholic parish church of St. Martin is in Obenhausen , a district of the market town of Buch in Swabia.

The oldest parts of the church are the late Gothic tower and the core of the choir from the early 16th century. A new building took place in 1803/04 in the early classical style.

Inside there are frescoes by the Weißenhorn painter Konrad Huber , the scenes of the legend of Martin and the photo of St. Pointing Martin to heaven, in the choir a representation of the Lord's Supper. On the south wall of the nave there is a late Gothic crucifix, which was probably made around 1520 in a workshop of the Ulm school .
