St. Mary , also St. Mary the Virgin , is an Anglican church building in Georgetown on the island of Ascension in the British overseas territory of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha . The church belongs to the diocese of St. Helena and forms the center of the parish of St Mary the Virgin .

The construction of the church building began on September 6, 1843 and was completed in 1846.
