The Diocese of St Helena is a diocese within the Anglican Church of Southern Africa . It was built in 1859 and includes, in addition to the eponymous island , the island of Ascension . Tristan da Cunha was one of them until 1960, but this island is now part of the Cape Town diocese .

The seat of the bishop is in the St. Paul’s district . Dale Arthur Bowers has served as Bishop since September 2018 ; he is the 16th holder of this office.
