history
In chronological order, Deubler shows that the Singer pastor moved from the Neusis sheep farm - today Neusis (desert) - to the village of Singen in 1570 - probably also because of the church . In 1603 it is mentioned that Heinrich Eckhard (1580–1624) was pastor in Singen, later professor in Giessen and finally general superintendent in Altenburg . In 1726, the church and rectory are mentioned in a building count .
In 1742 the dilapidated church from 1646 was renewed and restored in 1786, also in 1912. In 1870 the pastor and botanist Friedrich Christian Heinrich Schönheit came to the place. In 1883 the churchyard wall was restored.
