St. Nikolaus (Göppenham)

The Filialkirche St. Nikolaus , also Wasenkirche , is the Roman Catholic village church of Göppenham , a district of the municipality of Rattenkirchen in Upper Bavaria .

history

The choir of the small hall church was built in the Gothic style. The nave was probably added in the 17th century.

description

The choir, structured by a yoke, is closed at five of its eight corners. The net vault rests on corbels . The wall pillars close with pointed arches with beveled edges.

The nave is flat-roofed. On the west side, a roof turret adorns the church, which ends at the top with an onion dome.
