St. Otmar and Juliana (Attenhausen)
St. Otmar and Juliana is the Roman Catholic parish church in the village of Attenhausen , a district of Krumbach in the Bavarian district of Günzburg .
history
Attenhausen has been an important place of pilgrimage since around 1620. The pilgrimage began after the Ursberg Abbot Vitus Schönhainz had a statue of St. Otmar put up in the church.
The present church was built in 1759 by Johann Martin Kraemer in the Rococo style. The figure of Otmar stands on the right side altar. The ceiling fresco by Franz Martin Kuen shows the pilgrimage to Attenhausen.
