St. Paulus (Ascherode)

St. Paul

The St. Paulus Church in Ascherode is a Protestant church built in 1615/16 . It consists of a hall building with a three-sided choir and a roof tower in the west. The windows are decorated with rosettes.

Inside, the pyrography on the parapets, which show scenes from the life of Jesus Christ , are particularly noteworthy. In 1977 there was extensive maintenance work on the church tower .
