St. Peter and Paul is a parish church in Eslohe .

In 1072 the transfer to the Grafschaft monastery took place . Later she came to Meschede Abbey . 1494 granted Pope Alexander VI. an indulgence for a church building that began two years later.

The construction of today's church began in 1773 by the builder Ignatius Gehly . The single-nave church was completed in individual sections. The west tower was built between 1773 and 1775. Construction of the nave including the choir began in 1776. The inauguration took place on September 28, 1783. However, the entire church was not finally completed until 1788. The existing sacristy was built in 1893.

The sanctuary closes on three sides with a neo-baroque altarpiece ( Wiedenbrück school ). The double Madonna hanging from the ceiling and the pulpit with winding pillars and figures of the evangelists are striking. also
