St. Raphael is a Roman Catholic church in the Frankfurt district of Bockenheim .

Building history

The church on Ludwig-Landmann-Straße (Industriehof) was completed in 1959 based on a design by the architect Hans Busch . In 1979 there was a far-reaching liturgical reorganization and structural expansion of the church.

In May 2020, it was announced in the press that the church building would be dismantled in July 2020. On July 5, 2020, the church was declared profane by the Limburg bishop . In their place, a new school is to be built by 2023.
