Former Echternach farm in Kröv

The Echternacher Hof in Kröv , a local community in the Bernkastel-Wittlich district in Rhineland-Palatinate , was built in 1764. The Zehnthof of Echternach Abbey on Moselweinstraße 22/24 and Robert-Schuman-Straße 19/21 / 21a / 27 is a protected cultural monument .

In Kröv there were around 20 monastic or aristocratic courts up to secularization . The three-wing complex of the Echternacher Hof with an elongated front facing the Moselle is now used as a hotel with a café.

The street-side facade with eleven window axes has a flat central risaliten , which is framed by red sandstone and crowned by a triangular gable. The portal is framed by pilasters . The triangular gable originally featured the Echternach double-headed eagle and the coat of arms of Abbot Michael Hormann, under which the courtyard was built. All windows are arched with a sandstone frame. A sandstone cornice runs around the building .

The rear buildings were barns for grain and wine cellars.
