Hans Busch (* 1911 ; †  1990 ) was a German architect .

Life

Hans Busch comes from Frankfurt-Sossenheim . He studied architecture from 1930 to 1936 at the Technical University in Darmstadt and the University of Stuttgart . After working in an architecture office, doing military service and imprisonment, he went into business for himself in 1946. As an architect, Hans Busch u. a. Numerous churches and public buildings planned for the Diocese of Limburg . The need was great: after the Second World War , over 200 churches were restored or rebuilt within a generation in the Limburg diocese alone.

Many of the buildings he built between 1946 and 1986 are now listed buildings . From 1946 he worked together with the artist Jupp Jost on numerous public and sacred buildings .
