description

The Romanesque church of the type choir tower church was extended in 1885 and the tower was raised (with a pointed helmet merging into the octagon and four lucarns , each with a pointed helmet). The choir in the east tower has a groin vault, the nave has a flat roof. The main altar has four columns and shows the church patron in the altarpiece. The two side altars have two columns; the left shows Mary in the altarpiece, the right shows St. Sebastian. The furnishings also include a pulpit, a newer popular altar , various figures of saints and a cross with the Mother of Sorrows. The ceiling painting shows the coronation of Mary, including the empty Marian tomb with the apostles. Johann Divall from Ingolstadt cast an Arnbuch bell in 1795.

Together with Aschbuch, Arnbuch belongs to Kirchbuch and is also provided pastoral care by Paulushofen.
