St. Viti Church

The Protestant village church of St. Viti is in the Berka district of the town of Sondershausen in the Kyffhäuserkreis in Thuringia .

history

This village church was built in 1723 in the Berka district between the Hainleite and Windleite ridges . It is located on a property in the middle of the village opposite the rectory . In the literature cited, nothing was reported about a previous church .

Historiography dedicates a large room to the large bell with a diameter of 1.35 meters. This largest bell in the region was cast in Erfurt in 1704 .

Memorial stone

The memorial stone for the victims in World War II is on the property of the church.
