The State Grigory-Camblak -Universität Taraclia ( Russian Тараклийский государственный университет имени Григория Цамблака ; Bulgarian Тараклийски държавен университет , Romanian Universitatea de Stat "Grigore Ţamblac" din Taraclia ) is a university in the south Moldovan city Taraclia . With fewer than 300 students, it is one of the smallest universities in the country. It is considered to be the university of the Bulgarian minority of Moldova, which represents the majority of the population in the Taraclia area.
The Taraclia State University was opened in 2004 in the presence of Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov and his Moldovan colleague Vladimir Voronin . Since 2009 it has been named after the Bulgarian bishop Grigorij Camblak . The languages of instruction are Bulgarian , Romanian and Russian .
