The Stade Jean Antoine Moueix is a football stadium in Libourne , Gironde department in the southwestern French region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . When it opened in 1965, it had around 2,800 seats. Today it holds 6,050 spectators. It is the home of FC Libourne and named after a former president of the club. There are 1,685 seats available in the main grandstand. The opposite grandstand offers 2,045 seats and standing space for 900 each on the two rear grandstands. There are 500 spaces available for guest fans and a further 20 spaces for the disabled.
In 2006 the stadium was renovated and modernized. A new counter stand was built; a redesigned entrance area in the stadium; an electronic ticket system; an improved floodlight system ; a fan shop and a video surveillance system. In the near future, the capacity is to be expanded to over 8,200 seats (4,140 seats).
