The Stade de la Réunification ( German reunification stadium ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Douala , Cameroon . It is mainly used for soccer games and also has a running track , so it is also used for athletics competitions. The stadium has a capacity of 30,000 seats, of which 25,000 are seated and 5,000 are standing.
The stadium was built in 1972 as one of the two venues for the African Cup of Nations , which took place in Cameroon that same year. The clubs Union Douala , Caïman Douala and Les Astres FC play their home games in the stadium.
