The Khartoum Stadium ( Arabic ملعب الخرطوم, DMG Malʿab al-Ḫarṭūm ) is a multi-purpose stadium in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum .
It is located in the center of Khartoum, opposite the Sudan University of Science and Technology , at an interchange on the city motorway.
It is mainly used for soccer games and has a capacity of 23,000 spectators.
It was one of two venues for the 1970 African Cup of Nations and the African Nations Cup in 2011 and is the home ground of Al Khartoum SC .
